7. Your opinion on cheating on people.

28 Aug

To be honest, I used to be a cheater. I had little to know problems with it and could rationalize doing it because it was with someone I had been in love with. But Jake… he makes me want to be a better person! He makes me want to never hurt him. I want to do everything I can to make him happy. I want him and only him. But if he ever cheated on me… it’d be done.. despite how broken and lost I’d be without him. I don’t tolerate that. If I’m going to keep from cheating, the man I’m with better also.

6. The person you like and why you like them.

27 Aug

Jakob Glen Thomas Henson.

He’s the most amazing man I have ever met. I am head over heels for this man. He’s funny and smart and always joking around with me, but can be serious as well. He tells me how much he cares about me and about the thoughts he has. He’s amazing with my daughter! Which is the biggest thing to be honest. He’s active, but is understanding of the Multiple Sclerosis and doesn’t make me push it. He cares enough to ask how I’m doing and how my day is going, as well as how Lily is doing. There is so much more about him, but my fingers are going numb from all these posts I’m doing tonight to catch up. xP

Daily Prompt: I’d Like to Thank My Cats

27 Aug

You are receiving an award –- either one that already exists, or a new one created just for you. What would the award be, why are you being honored, and what would you say in your acceptance speech?

I’m not sure I’d get one to be honest, there really isn’t anything I’m particularly good at. I play the violin, but not all that good. I can cook, but there are so many people that are so much better than me at cooking, I’m a good mom, but certainly don’t deserve mom-of-the-year. My boyfriend says I’m really good at back rubs, but I’ve gotten better ones, for sure. I’m good at graphics, but I have so much more the learn!

I guess that one thing I’m best at is caring. I have a huge heart and always try to do things to make people smile. I love doing it! So if I HAD to receive an award I’d say it would be a made up reward called “The Loving Heart” award. As for a speech, Jesus, I don’t know…

“First of all, thank you all for coming here, it is greatly appreciated. To be honest, I’m sure someone else deserves this more than I do, but I thank you regardless for the great honor. This is something anyone can achieve, all you really have to do is think of others before yourself, put their happiness before your own. I wish the world was more like this, but it has to start somewhere. So why not with you?”

Daily Prompt: Funny Ha-Ha

27 Aug

Do you consider yourself funny? What role does humor play in your life? Who’s the funniest person you know?

I do consider myself funny, I mean, I make people laugh. And I tend to be very sarcastic. And dirty. lol And I’d have to say the funniest person I know is either Jake or my other best friend Jack. They always have me laughing when I’m around them. It’s wonderful and a great change from being at home!

Daily Prompt: Secret of Success

27 Aug

What would it take for you to consider yourself a “successful blogger”? Is that something you strive for?

I think just a large following would do it for me, not that that’s the goal at this point; I just need a creative outlet to be honest. I’ve tried blogs before and never did much with them and obviously weekends will be hard for me to keep up with daily with Jake coming up for visits – and mondays will be challenging catch up days; but I think I finally found the right motivation for it. I don’t care if anyone reads them or not, I’m just looking for a place I can write and get my thoughts out.

4. What you wear to bed.

26 Aug

Honestly… just underwear. Bras are constricting, shirts choke me and I’m usually too hot for pants or shorts. So it’s just underwear for me, kinda dirty, but true. If I had any less privacy I’d probably deal with a night gown, but since that isn’t the case… -shrugs-

3. What kind of person attracts you.

26 Aug

He must be the following things: Nerdy, Smart, Funny and Affectionate. My boyfriend seems to be all those things and then some! He really is amazing. He’s caring and affectionate, constantly making me laugh, way smarter than he acts and as much of a nerd as I am! I don’t know what I’d do if I didn’t have him in my life.

Daily Prompt: These Boots Were Made for Walking

24 Aug

Tell us about your favorite pair of shoes, and where they’ve taken you.

My favorite pair of shoes are a purple/pink pair of low top converse – and boy have they gotten me through a lot!! I’ve had them since I was a sophomore in high school, 6 years ago! They’ve made it through Texas summers and Wisconsin winters. They’ve made it through trails in the mud and field days at school. They’ve made it through birthday parties and nights at the bar. They’ve survived sharpie battles and still hold the scars! I refuse to wash those memories away. I want to keep them with me always. They’re memories of when life was more simple and all I had to worry about was school. Now I have so much more on my plate, not that I would change that for anything! I love those shoes.

2. How have you changed in the past 2 years?

24 Aug

In the past two years I have changed a lot! I’ve gone from a girl that was unreliable and angry at the world, into a woman who is responsible and a damn good mother. I’m not angry at the world anymore for the things that I have no control over. (I have bipolar and Multiple Sclerosis) I take each day in stride and I’m allowing myself to be happy, finally. I have a steady job, I provide for my daughter, while paying my bills at the same time! I’ve grown up so much! Having a baby does that to a person though. I don’t think I’d be like this without her. I realized I had to grow up for her, as well as myself. I keep my room clean now, do my own laundry and cook my own food! (Despite living with 8 other family members!) I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished and hope to accomplish more!
